قلب على قلب
In
Arabic we say Qalb ala Qalb which roughly
translates to “hearts in sync”. In essence, it’s talking about telepathy, and
the unspoken words, and how they are not necessary in order to bond. What I
love about it most is that it isn’t restrictive to romantic love, but instead
it is open to any love at all. You would say it when you bump into someone you
adore unexpectedly, at the grocery store maybe, or in the middle of traffic. Or
even when you say something at the same time as someone else. The idea is that
these things happen because your hearts are connected, and that somewhere along
this telepathic journey, they bumped into, or brushed past one another, and
that, because they were meant to meet, they always, always will. They will
always find a way to each other. That’s comforting to me.
